you bring up so many good points here... i, for one, am glad that you keep with the anemones - they are stunning visually and are incredibly interesting... i appreciate the way you explore the color variations and the inherent flowing shape... i happen to be an asymmetrical earring person myself so keep with that too! some of your show stoppers may be that for you - pieces for beautiful big exhibits... that is good... i love the ring... a universal lament is about selling art - and i think that is so very sad... there is a sculptor i follow the work of and she recently said something like she should turn her work into candle holders and chandeliers to make sales... but it isn't where her heart lies... you are doing beautiful, imaginative, inspiring work - keep with it... the shire is sure to inspire!
oh, and i love the brooch - never underestimate the power of a good one - i know a woman who had one in an exhibit at the v&a... sorry this sounds rambling, you really struck a chord here...

Mary Jane, thanks so much for your comments! I'm glad it struck a chord, and I've had some similar comments on Facebook as well. We as artists have to stick with what speaks to us, yet it's such a juggling act to make it all financially work out at times. Your comments are so supportive.
